Research and design of capacitance plug-in assembly manipulator

Abstract In order to improve the efficiency of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) capacitor plug-in, reduce labor input and accuracy a plug-in assembly manipulator was designed. The mainly composed X-axis module, Y-axis module Z-axis module. mechanical gripper could adjust distance between two grippers meet needs different capacitance sizes. By adopting double z-axis design, work rectangular coordinate improved. addition X-ray axis improved synchronization movement at both ends X enhanced rigidity structure. Siemens PLC S7-200 motion library function controlled grasp, positioning plug-in. unit 2.5 s/board, complete efficiently accurately. whole system has advantages high control accuracy, simple operation, stable operation low noise, important practical significance for enterprises.
